what is your headcanon on Sparda's relation to Nero
Oh no the dreaded question!!!
WELL IF IMMA TAG HIM WITH NERO I must know lmaoo
I'm pretty open about it though I usually just think Nero as a being related but not so directly related like Dante and Vergil are (whoops almost put Nero). I dunno if that answers anything at all, though.
I Have no idea except that Nero is related somehow because Look At Him lmao
I believe we're in the same boat.
and the only way he could be related is if he was Sparda's son or grandson...? unless there's another way
and since we can probably assume Dante didn't have a kid
... Dante would be like "No. Nope. Nada."
but I have trouble seeing Vergil having........
And it's not in Vergil's character either.
and then isn't Sparda like...dead? but Nero is only 19
Canon, yes I think he is dead. Unfortunately. :x
WHERE THE FUCK DID NERO COME FROM
Sparda could've gotten around you know
an unknown son of a son sounds most resonable
or there's the theory sparda isnt actually dead but
I dunno either. I wish we had more answers.
I want to know where the fuck Nero came from and what his relation is to Sparda since its hinted so freakin' much
we have to think of the unreliableness of what's given to us here, too--like. just because Sanctus says he's got Sparda blood doesnt mean anything
but he's obviously half-demon so its like 8|
Where did you come from Nero. I love you but
I think it's safe to assume, yes, he's related just bc he's the game's protag tbh
and I mean look at that hair and eyes. And the fact he can repair Yamato.
he got his arm after being attacked from a demon, we know that much
maybe he wasn't demony until then? Bleh that feels too much like stretching to me
but he didnt seem to be aware of any demonic power PRIOR to that if you judge based on his qoutes after he repairs Yamato "if I become a demon so be it" and just the way he acts about his arm..
yes. he seems so confused about it.
"IT CAN DO THIS?" "WHAT IS IT DOING WHY IS IT SUCKING ALL THESE ITEMS INTO ME?"
well it's new and the game is the first time he uses it so thats understandable
/looks at the manual again
okay forget this dumb forum but anyway
All I know is he confuses me further but hes a cutie.
Nero was an orphan, that alone is enough of a hint to assume he was always half-demon
bc of the way he was found etc
I definitly feel like assuming otherwise is, honestly, overthinking xD
as much as I like some of the theories I'm reading..
I just assume theres a relation but how far it goes back idk. Unknown son of a son of a son.
capcom could have retconned for all we know
so tl;dr Sparda will recognize him as related somehow?
also I'm so bad at writing fights without talking to the mun so I'm glad I added you on plurk now xD
I mean to him no one else but people who are related to him should have that signature hair and eye color
yes.
ur also a great nero vuv
i enjoy your dante I LOVE DANTES /squeezes
Nero currently has his arm covered again bc he keeps...recovering it
and sleeping on the roof like a loser
I'll tag that post in a bit too
also spoilers I'm also naoki
I got Nocturne from a friend on Christmas. It's a great game (and of course it's the version with Dante so............ guess who gets recruited a lot)
haha yes \o/ I played it back in 2011-12
b-before I had actually beaten any DMC games besides DMC2
/has still only beaten DMC2 and 4
Shh, it's okay. I won't judge.
I played DMC2 yeaaaaars ago bc some guy at gamestop suggested it over DMC1 bc "Dante runs faster"
its not my fault for real
but it's the first game of course it wont be perfect
and I don't think DMC3 was out at the time
DMC1 is also a really hard game
tbh I prob wouldnt have been able to beat the first one then considering I havent beaten ti now LOL
It took me a long time to actually beat half of the bosses.
It took me two months to beat Mundus.
It also took me two months to beat Vergil too so uh. Yeah.
beowulf in DMC3--6 hours on and off one day. not counting the countless attmepts before hand
6 hours I finally beat him after giving up and using a health item
DMC1 and DMC3 are those games
then in DMC4 I said "FUCK IT" and used health and revive on the final boss
but the system in DMC4 is much more forgiving because you have Orbs AND Proud Souls
nOPE never want to do them again ever
hell Dante gave me some trouble in mission 10.
they werent TOO bad but they could certainly be frustrating as hell
......okay so quick story
I got to Dante in mission 10 and couldnt beat him
so I put the game down for like
and I come back to it and read a little walkthrough that basicall amounts to "use the buster" and I beat him in a few tries
I tried the usual way. Run in there, attack, buster but
then after that I realized "JUST USE THE FUCKING BUSTER ON EVERYTHING IT'S MAD OP" and won the game in a few days
the asshole kept dodging me and retaliating
(that was like 2 weeks ago)
so I eventually went "Fuck you Dante, I'm playing your way" and eventually won. I was really persistent
I could spam it that way but it wouldnt work 3 times in a row so I had to hit him with some sword attacks in the middle
what i dont understand about DMC4 is
Nero doesnt get anything.
no I know, and I really hated plating him at first but
then the buster moves are really cool..
I wish he could use the special weapons tho
Nero's buster was sometimes my "Just freakin' die already demon" thing. :')
I used it in the sanctus battles a lot
oh god and his second form in the final level
Frosts and the Angelos are fun with Nero but such a pain as Dante.
I GOT TO THAT FORM FLAWLESSLY TWICE and then i got so frustrated
i couldnt land a single hit on him wtf
I feel like I'm getting no where with beating Angelos up on Dante.
yeah a lot of the bosses are harder as dante
I liked using Nero's Snatch on the first boss to stay in mid-air and out of attack range most of the fight
You end up mostly being near the bosses as Dante and hammering them the best you can.
I never managed to buster the frog boss tho
You kinda have to play a little safer as Dante. :')
Nero you can kinda be like "Oh right I have this arm dont I. Welp."
like I said his arm is MAD OP I love it
and when you do it in devil trigger mode
In a way Nero doesnt need any fancy weapons since he kinda has a variety on his own. You got a sword, an arm, and a gun. Mix them up well and you're kind set.
Dante's DT is also a little OP. I mean have you seen that stinger?
It's like...a 3 shot stinger when you DT. Owie.
hahah yeah but DT is supposed to be at least
out of all the weapons this time, I really only cared for Lucifer (I like fast weapons)
I just wish I knew how to use it better.
Lucy is fun I love filling enemies with spears and then BOOM
Lucifer also comes with a great cutscene.
so how can you not love it.
and then we're all satisfied :'|
the second best cutscene is Dante and Agnus hamming it up.
I have a headcanon they could be good friends because they're both ridiculous. You know, if it werent for the whole working for the evil guy thing
omg i was just wathcing that cutscene today
I might have enabled a friend to play agnus
We should ham it up as Dante and Agnus.
and agnus is gonna be all creepy about Nero's arm
Agnus really is my favorite Order member.
I like ridiculous characters okay
coz nero is technicaly a member

the cutest
I anxiously await the fig i bought of him to ship
theyre being dumb and waiting to ship it with my preorder and im just like AHHH I WANT THE NERO
sit him next to my DMC3 Dante
and the DMC4 dante i wish i had ..... ( I lost anauction weeep)
I wish I had a DMC fig but money.
expensive pretty things orz
I do have some prints though from conventions. My friend bought them for me when he went to one. 1Dante and 3Dante. :|
the 3Dante is actually a bookmark though.
all dantes are good dantes

donte
dante is in some project x zone game with lady
at least dante isnt gone completely.
and I like to pretend DMC2 and Nocturne happened together somehow
I actually have a mini headcanon about that.
ike maybe nocturne happened right after DMC2 or something
I played DMC2 so long ago I dont remember specifics
especially since how weird all those clouds look in DMC2 and how deserted the city is.
I keep thinking "It the sign of the Conception happening..."
I just got dmc2 again to play
but the clouds in the background look so weird.
ofc they prob just picked DMC2 Dante coz it came out the year the original SMT3
and Maniax (NA's Nocturne) was the year after ahh
I love Dante's personality in Nocturne though.
funny, considering how he is in dmc2..
It's almost like this new job perked him up or something.
saw Naoki, his sassy urges exploded
cant blame him considering how quiet Naoki is
I love pestering Loki so much in Nyx's bar actually. Every time I go to Ginza I'm like "Loki. Loki. I'm stepping on your cape, Loki."
Hes always playing with his drink. :|
and then got sweet, sweet revenge by ransacking his room
"I'M STEALING YOUR STUFF LOKI WHATCHA GONNA DO 'BOUT IT"
I'm pretty sure he knows you did it though. Like when you talk to him about it afterwards...
I mean you were probably the last one he told to stay out of his room and the last one near the door...
man this is making me wanan play Nocturne
but True Demon ending was a solid 90 hours for me last time
i Have other things I need to playy...
One you go True Demon you can never go back.
also because Dante tempts me into completing True Demon.
though I could just do the kalpas, recruite him and go neutral.
it was the first time I played the game I had to use a guide book I bought to help with that ending lol xD
see neutral aint my style. I think I wanna try Chiaki's route next time
I had help from my friend and a guide. OTL
I got the official guide book it's SOOO useful, but anyway
True Demon is rewarding though. I mean you collect all this stuff and it all is worth it in the end.
I didnt enjoy the kalphas much >> I'd rather not do them again
I just like the third Kalpa
I THOUGHT YOU MEANT YOU TAGGED ME I WAS CONFUSED
yes I loved the kalphas involgin liveaction stuff it was interesting
I didn't like the fourth Kalpa much though.
I'm pretty sure I thought "I will kill the mastermind behind these floors"
the warp area in the tower
I gave up on that and just looked straight at the map in my book
I also hated the invisible maze in the second kalpa. I knew I was thinking "I will kill the mastermind behind this maze."
I actually enjoyed those a bit
or I might be thinking of the ones in Digital Devil Saga
if i enjoyed it in one i prob enjoyed it in the other
I havent played Digital Devil Saga. OTL
though that does remind me that I need to play dsrk2....
I'm stuck on a boss though.
and then I get stuck on a boss in an Atlus game....
I liked DDS1-2 until....the latter 4th of the second game
boss fights orz but theyre so fun even if hard
sorry I've gotta bail out suddenly my wrists are not...happy with me ;_;
Matador is in my way of meeting Dante.
I havent had this problem in months im gonna assume its coz i started PC games again xD anyway
it was fun chatting with you \o/
