So, would Kanda be able to live in Lavi's closet? Besides him, there's like two people he wouldn't mind sharing that tiny a room with, and he's pretty stubborn. 
Unfortunately compass doesn't care what Kanda minds, which is why we're seriously considering getting rid of the request system

In one of my old games, you started off with shitty housing and as you got jobs and standing and worked your way up, you could get better rooms

obviously it couldn't work the same in EV but maybe there's an option to get a bit of preference in rooms if you do dirty work for COMPASS or something?
