Bad news: Energy bill was higher than I expected. Normally I expect to overestimate how much will be spent and thus expect some money back on the budget. But this month? Not so.

And I'm not sure why, either. It hasn't been that much hotter than usual, and my brother's been inside last month as well as this one, so... I dunno. D:

Good news: I got unexpected funds about equal to the amount that I underestimated! So that's kind of nice.

But yeah... mostly I just get aggravated at myself when I don't guess right when budgeting.

Also, a coworker gave me four shopping bags of her husband's old dress clothes. Not sure if that's good or bad yet- it'll depend on how they look and feel and all.

That being said, having more clothes is never a bad thing. usually.

It's possible... though I don't think so. I seem to remember their proposed hike getting shot down.

Then again, I think this is the first summer bill, so there might be something there. Hrm.

my bill shot up recently since after Fukushima, every power plant in Japan is raising their prices by 11-20%

Technically I had to shuffle some other categories around t make it work. But at least it worked out in the end.
