sorry, don't know you and seems like there is no mutual friends → seems like the most logical reasons for most people, including myself to ignore requests

if you want people who'll almost surely accept your friend requests, I'd suggest you to add people you actually know rather than total strangers

^this too, I've accepted a friend request by a friend of my friend by mistake a while ago. the profile was private, so I couldn't see the content before accepting. I ended up with a total whiner on my timeline
