Sorry for the wait, guys, that's entirely my (Dandy's) fault.

Is there a thread for those sacrifices leaving who're not listed?

Leaving to where?

He's not getting to the other sacrifices because he's been interrupted by the fight.
joker

If that's what you mean.
so the other sacrifices weren't cordoned off anywhere?

I must be lost somewhere. As now that its a free for all, all the previous planning's for naught?

Why not just tell us the rooms didn't have to pick someone, so the IC debates could've continued without having to OOCly work out the choice?

It was pretty much implied in week 25's write-up.

It would've allowed much more CR and a lot less negotiation and hassle working things out.

pocketspy: The point of the event was to put the characters through the mental anguish of having to pick the sacrifices.
joker

It was said that the sacrifices would never actually be made other than Capa in the write-up
joker

Yes it's not a free-for-all
Yeah, the write up did mention this
joker

Sorry if it wasn't as clear as it could have been! Look back we could have made that more apparent.

It's not a free-for-all? But...anyone can post to the fight thread or...is it just for the people picked?

Not that the sacrifices would die, that was clear but not that they at least wouldn't be indicated prior to the one and only death. That the resolution was irrelevant wasn't.
I imagine she meant now, rather than not.

resolution may not apply to this post, but in the context of your rooms it is still relevant because prior to this moment a decision would still have been made. cordoned off or not someone was still chosen

to die

It did matter for one room due to a last second switch, rendered irrelevant.

handsoplenty: It's a free-for-all for everybody

The people picked were solely for the rabble-rousing in the top part of the post.
joker

pocketspy: I'm sorry we didn't make that explicit enough, but I don't see how it doesn't matter? Your characters still have those memories, and that CR. Just because it didn't come out in front of everyone

doesn't negate it.
If it was changed last second and therefore I imagine rather recently due to OOC decisions: retcon it if you'd all prefer. If it was changed due to IC decisions: what midnightlullabii and Dandy said.

The way it's set up does negates the original plan, which is fine, but I can't help but feel frustrated with the time spent sorting, for what turned out was unnecessary.

Again, I'm sorry that happened. :-( We'll try to be more clear in the future.

Last second icly, it was decided last week OOCly, after a near week of discussion, last second means when the sacrifices were collected.

Just a note that for all the potential room debates, the final decision, wouldn't matter (in some cases).
joker
Again, it did matter to the characters.
joker

Until the revolution began they would be thinking they were about to die, and Capa's death should only prove that until Ivan speaks up.
StormWolf

It matters as character development, I'd think.

The arguing, totally.
joker

And the conclusion. Your character will always be known as the one who wanted to give their life, or the one who wanted to let children die in their place, or whatever choice they made.
