I think it's an invitation thing often.

I hear about events on plurk most of the time!

I often get canvased, then I spread the word to my fellow designers in the few groups I am able to. I pass things on to designer friends.

I don't tend to hear about them at all, til it is too late! But the ones I do are usually from plurk or being invited.

Yea, thats my problem Ive always had as a blogger and Designer. I don't hear til its too late. I tend to not be able to make friends well either LMAO.

I have a few friends whom I talk to like 6 actually in SL maybe. But Id like to be friends with more people who are interested in the same thing that I am which is creating/blogging.

Right??? Someone should make a Designer supprt blog/Group like they have for Bloggers.

In fact I might be interested in heading that up if anyone wants to start it with me!

I tried doing something similar but specifically for my fantasy niche awhile ago, but I'm honestly way too busy to be heralding over it full time as I had planned so it's on hold. It is a good idea.

I'd be more than willing to spearhead it if I knew people were willing and open to it. Even if I had a little help checking the feedback and setting it up. I don't know how I would get ppl involved.
