experience with the offshoot games like Devil Survivor and Persona, but I think many of the mechanics carry across games and everything I have played so far is really good.

the PSP version of Persona 3 has an added female hero with all-different dialogue. They say it paints the story in a very different light.

Interesting. Other than gender pronouns changing, I'm not sure I understand the game enough to know if it would matter.
