Richard is a magic kngiht and the only healing he gets is antidote and THAT only in the re-release

and Asch has a couple spells but doesn't get jack shit for heals either

Nope, he also gets to magic things

admittedly his spell selection is pretty small (Icicle Rain/Explosion/Thunder Blade/Stalagmite) but they're spells damnit! The first thing he does on screen is shoot icicle rain at Luke in Abyss

(I have no idea how RM works on that front the fact that it even has classes is news to me)

but yeah, Luke and Asch have all their sword artes in common, although Asch automatically gets the sidequest artes, and then only Asch gets the spells
