I am so hyped for this game.

2D Minecraft (like Terraria) in space with procedurally generated planets, monsters, weapons (like Borderlands 2, although there are also 300+ non-generated items you can craft), quests, and even a story.

you can even plant crops and have farms!

everything in that screen was created by the players there

and those planets in the background are actually ones that are near the one you're on. You can visit them too!

the asteroid terrain is temporary (they just used random dirt for testing) and fall damage is turned off for that video

They just recently implemented instruments that you can play in-game using song files you have in ABC notation.

There is also a band feature where once everyone hits the ready button, the band starts playing together!

There are six different player races too: Human, Apex (think Planet of the Apes meets 1984), Avian (religious warrior bird-people), Floran (aggressive tribal plant-people),

Hylotl (fish-people based on Japanese culture), and the Glitch (robots!)

and one more race will be in by release: Novakid (western-styled star people filled with gas)

and it's also incredibly easy to make/add mods!
