As for languages um

Kanonno speaks whatever's spoken on Terresia but also Pasca so I've always headcanoned there's either a universal language

or Descenders in general speak in a way that is understood by everyone and understand all languages

since World Trees are all sorta kind of connected

Kangai speaks English and I think that's about it. I remember hearing something about him being able to speak a little Chinese but the idea ended up being a scrapped and is never used in canon anyway
