eventually found him and sat down on the other side of the bench, keeping quiet. She was checking on him because his sister asked her too.
took a long inhale. "Hallo."
nodded slowly, " Hej." She continued to just watch the people around. " The weather's nice isn't it?" She figured it was worth bringing up.
nods. "It has been lately. A little cold, but that's fine."
smiled faintly, " That's good." She drew quiet again after a while. " Did you eat yet?"
shakes his head. "I was thinking about it, but wasn't sure on where to go. You hungry?"
shrugs as she look up to the sky, " A bit I guess. What are you in the mood for?"
shrugs. "I wouldn't mind some stew."
hums quietly, " Would you like me to cook or head to a place to eat?"
looks over to her. "As long as I can clean the kitchen after, we can go back to my house."
tilted her head, " Are you sure? You seem to want to be outside today."
shrugs as he got up. "We can eat outside. I've been out for a while, just watching people."
nods as she got up as well. " Alright. Let's head back then."
scrunched out his cig and threw it out before starting to walk home. He rubbed his eyes a bit, holding back a yawn.
followed next to him, heading back as well. " You should rest."
shakes his head. "It's just been a quiet day. I've not been as active as normal."
smiles, " Ja but I feel like today you need the day off."
looks to her. "Why do you feel that? I've not done much the past few days."
shook her head, " Nej but today feels more important for you to do so."
shrugs. "I don't mind dinner being cooked, at least. But I'm cleaning up." He was pretty careful with his kitchen after all.
nods, " I know. You've mentioned it already." She did't want to admit it but she was worried for him.
didn't see why, he was fine as of late. He walked into his house after and kept the door open for her.
knew so. She followed after him and went straight to the kitchen after.
took his shoes off before following her in. "Need any help with anything?"
had already kicked her shoes off to the side as she looked into the fridge. " Cleaning after ja?"
nods. "Ja, but anything else?"
shook her head, " Nej. It's fine."
nodded at that, trying to think of what he should do in the mean time.
thought he should do what he enjoyed.
went to go get some supplies then, and went outside to do a few sketches.
started cooking with some ingredients she had brought over. She figured it was better to add some variation.
would eat pretty much anything, as he hated wasting food.
had a feeling but she still wanted to make something good for him.
thought everything she made was good, really. He enjoyed it at least.
brought the food outside to him a little while later. She put the tray of food next to him before heading back inside to get her own food.
blinks a little as he looked to it. "Danku." He put his art down and started eating the food."
brought a few beers along with the rabbit who seemed to wanted to go outside for fresh air. " She was worried about you." She stated as the rabbit stayed close to him.
pet the rabbit lightly. "She doesn't need to, neither do yo."
blinks as she sat beside the rabbit. " I'm not worried." She huffed. " I just thought you wanted some company."
nods a bit. "The company isn't bad... It's nice."
ate her food quietly. " Well I'm not good at cheering up adults so I thought being here might help."
looks to her. "Who needs cheering up?"
pokes the side of his head. " You heard the news right?" She didn't want to seem down but she couldn't help it and tried her best to not mention it entirely.
frowns before looking away. " That's good then." She smiled after and ate, petting the rabbit once in a while.
frowns as he looked to her. "What's wrong?"
shrugs, " Nothing with me. I thought you were down because of something but turns out that it wasn't."
frowns more. "What do you mean?"
shook her head, " Don't worry about it." She sighed. " Its better if you don't."
shakes his head. "Nee, I want to know now.
pouts, " Well I don't want to tell you and make a big deal out of it."
shakes his head again as he put a hand on her lightly. "Tell me what's wrong..."
shook her head again stubbornly, shuffling slightly away if possible. " I can't and just don't let it bother you. It just isn't right for me to say it in all honesty."
"The more you avoid it the more I'm starting to worry..."
tried to come up with something else that was still legitimate news. " You're going through a recession ja?"
"Tell me what's bothering you... it's making me focus on that and not eating."
huffed quietly tried to think of some proper excuse, " Well I don't want you to fall into a depression or anything cause of the recession. That's all."
narrowed his eyes. "Dorthe."
swallowed slightly, scowling back. " I'm serious here."
sighs. "I'm fine." He ate slowly.
sighed and just finished her food.
took his time, not wanting to eat quickly.
glanced out to the open, wondering why she felt guilty. She still figured it wasn't worth bringing up and ruining his day.
wasn't happy that she was hiding it from him. If anything all of this was ruining his day.
fiddled with the ends of her shirt as she huffed, not liking having her guilt eat away at her. " So you haven't been paying attention to the news lately?"
glanced up to him briefly before looking back at her lap again. " It's about your prince." She glanced aside, knowing she shouldn't be talking about this at all.
nods a bit, still eating. "Ja."
frowns, " You know the one that's in the coma right?"
nodded again, looking out across the land.
shifted uneasily, " I'm guessing you haven't heard about his passing then." She knew it wasn't appropriate but it made her sad and anxious, especially about the entire issue.
finished off his food. "I know that he's dead."
went silent immediately. She wasn't sure if it was just shock from hearing that or simply that he knew in the first place.
leaned back in his seat. "I don't need to watch the news when it's something like that. I felt it the moment he passed away."
looked to her lap after. She sighed slightly before getting up and picking up her own plates. She didn't want to say anything because she knew how emotional she was as a person.
got up as well and took his plates in. "Is that why you're down?"
straightened up a bit as she was turning to head back to the kitchen. " I'm not down!" She insisted but she was really sympathetic to him.
didn't think she had to be. "It's not a nation changing loss, you know."
huffs and bit her tongue to actually hold what she was to say. She would've snapped back but decided to just shut up for once. " I should go home."
raised his brow. "What's wrong now?"
shrugs, " I only came to see if you were okay about it. That's all." She went back inside.
stayed out for a bit longer before following her in. "That was the only reason you came here?"
didn't say anything as she went to get the rabbit. She did come over because she wondered if he wanted company and that she was feeling bored again.
would have felt bad if she visited only to check up on him. "Do you want some tea?"
blinks at that, " I guess." She figured she would stay for a bit and try to not be seemingly down.
went to make them both some tea.
sat quietly with the rabbit in her arms, her mind preoccupied with stuff.
wanted to know really what was bothering her..
perhaps wasn't the best person to get over people passing away, especially those she felt that were important even if they weren't related to her.
found it odd how she seemed more affected by the death than he was. He had enough time to prepare himself for it, and even so he wasn't a huge asset to the monarchy.
blamed it on her own old age and emotions for being so sympathetic to humans.
brought her some tea soon after. "Here, this might help..."
put the rabbit onto the ground to hop around the house before accepting the tea. " Tak."
sat beside her an sipped his tea lightly. "Danku, for caring."
scratched her cheek as the drank it quietly, " You're welcome..." She didn't expect that from him.
had a hard time getting his emotions figured out most of the time, so by her coming it proved that people did care about him, or at least his country
wasn't exactly sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing. " Would you like me to stay around for longer?"
nods a little. "The company is nice..."
smiles slightly, " Want to go take a stroll in the fields after?"
... nodded some more. "That would be nicer than sitting inside all day."
finished her tea after. " We should go now since its still bright outside."
nods at that, downing the rest of his tea quicker than normal before putting the mug into the kitchen and going to get his shoes on.
put away her cup in the sink as she put on her shoes and went outside. She liked nature...minus the moose.
followed her outside and started walking down his normal route. He was used to anything.
stayed beside him seeing she didn't know where he would go.
went around a few canals, keeping to the quieter part of the outer city.
stayed quiet but enjoyed the sights in the meantime.
wondered if there was anything she wanted to talk about.
didn't have much on her mind now that she was more preoccupied in looking around. " Are you and Berwald good friends?"
nods. "I've not spoken to him in a long time, but ja. He's just after Søren."
blinks as she nods, " I was taking care of him back at home when he was injured. He's quiet like you."
nods at that. "I know. There's been history between us, quiet a few times really." He looked to her after. "How'd he get hurt?"
raises a brow, " Remember the other day I was tired because of the fight the other Dane got into? Berwald was involved too."
frowns. "I see. How is he, compared to the other Dane?"
smiles, " Better and actually really nice. I thought he was supposedly intimidating but he's like a puppy if I can put it that way."
smirks a bit. "He's got a childish side to him, you just need to understand him better."
blinks at that, " Really? You seem to understand him well."
nods. "Ja, I do. We've been together through thick and thin, just as I have with Søren. And I do a lot of business with him now."
smiles more, " I guess I can understand that in a way." She walked ahead seeing she wanted to look at some of the flowers up close.
put his hands in his pockets. "Do you get along with him, but not with Astrid?"
wrinkles her nose, " He isn't as annoying as her."
nods at that. "Interesting."
looked at the flowers closely, not sure how to respond.
inspected the flowers, seeing if they needed any tending to.
walked ahead of him after, thinking about stuff again.
wondered what she was thinking about...
didn't really know but she had a bit on her mind. She was thinking about her own situation really.
wondered if he could help her with it.
wasn't sure if he knew how to deal with the fact of being old.
thought it was only her mind that had that. As long as you acted young, you felt young. And she had her moments of childishness.
figured as much. She tried to seem younger than she really was whenever she thought too much about it at times.
thought she looked pretty young still. She was just experienced.
was't experienced in everything though.
knew that, but she was pretty experienced with life.
guessed there was still a lot for her to learn.
stopped a mooment to fix up a flower, getting back up and walking up to her again.
waited for him as she didn't want to walk ahead just yet.
caught up quickly. "Have you gotten enough sleep lately?"
blinks as she shrugs, " Enough to stay awake I guess."
nods. "You look tired. Maybe you should have a nap at my house."
frowns, " It kind of seems like I'm always visiting just to sleep at your place."
shrugs. "Some times you need to get away from home to relax. It's not a bad thing."
sighs, " I guess it won't be such a bad idea."
"I can make you tea too, and keep you warm if you want."
nods, " I sort of want to take a nap in the garden since the weather is nice."
shrugs. "Then that can be done too. Do you still want me?"
smiles, " It's up to you. The company is nice however."
nods. "I'll bring tea either way. But I'm not the best fan of sleeping in the gardens, not anymore.."
about to ask why but just started to head back.
hadn't gotten over the past when he slept outside in the flowers. He just preferred having a bed.
didn't think of it as a bad thing since she used to sleep almost outside everyday.
only had to since he was too poor to afford a bed..
wasn't exactly well off either. She went and found a nice spot in the garden where there weren't any flowers.
went inside to go make some tea for them, bringing it out quickly after.
had already fallen asleep by then as had gotten quite comfy. She could pretty much sleep anywhere.
blinked at that and just sat beside her and sipped his tea.
curled up to him childishly as she was feeling cold.
stroked her hair lightly as well as her back, hoping to warm her up.
stayed close, glad for that. She didn't realize this was becoming much of a habit by now/
didn't mind it, since it didn't cause him any annoyance.
kind of glad for that then.
finished his tea and relaxed a bit, enjoying the outside again.
continued to just nap contently. She stirred after a while later, having rested up by then.
sat up slowly, leaning against him a bit as she yawned. " Ja..." She was still groggy from her nap.
"Do you still want your tea? It's kind of cold now."
blinks as she looked over to him and then the cup of tea that he had made for her. " Ja. Can't let it go to waste right?" She just downed it in one go despite it tasting funny.
nods at that. "I can go make more if you want, so it's nice and warm."
shook her head, " I'll probably end up going to the washroom more if I drink so much tea." She got up slowly after, feeling a bit chilly now.
nods. "Do you want to head inside now?"
looks around, " Well its dark now and I wouldn't want to get a cold."
nodded at that and walked inside. "I can make some snacks if you want."
perks up, " Sure I guess."
went to go make some simple sandwiches.
picked up the rabbit and watched it nibble away at her hair.
brought a plate to the kitchen table and put it down. "What do you want to drink?"
looked up to him as she adjusted the rabbit. " Uh tea I guess." She really didn't think much about it.
went to make more, finding it so automatic now whenever she was there.
guessed these things really did turn into a habit.
handed her her tea before sitting down and nibbling on some sandwiches.
careful with the cup of tea as she watched the rabbit.
"You really like her, don't you?"
smiles, " Ja. She's cute like Kara but has her own kind of charm."
fed her a carrot so she'd nibble away at it. "She's my best friend, really."
smiles more as she watched the rabbit while sipping her own cup of tea. " I can tell."
petted the rabbit, glad she always had been with him.
could say that she was glad as well the rabbit was there. She could be almost jealous but there wasn't much point in that.
didn't did more to her than the rabbit...
((Wait hol on, my brain died.))
did a lot more to her than the rabbit.
((My brain is already dead xD ))
wasn't exactly the smartest to be aware of that and if it was the other way, she wouldn't know what to think.
sighed quietly and rubbed his eyes. He wanted to relax a bit more today.
tilted her head, " Are you feeling okay?"
nods. "Ja. I just got hit by a wave of exhaustion..."
frowns, " Would you like to sleep?"
shakes his head. "I'm not that tired, yet. I just don't have much energy..."
raised a brow, " Would you like to rest your head in my lap?:
shakes his head again. "It's okay. We can just sit outside for some time again..."
nods as she helped the rabbit off her lap. She started her way to head outside again. " Lets go then."
got up and followed her out, keeping his eyes on her.
went to look for a nice place to sit and help him rest.
"We can go wherever you want to go. I'm not picky."
glanced to him, " Neither am I sowe should go somehwere comfy."
thought that the fields were always a good option.
went to that direction in that case.
got there soon after and sat down, being careful of flowers around him. He always felt happy here.
found a nice spot next to him and relaxed quietly afterwards.
sighed and closed his eyes. "I can never get sick of my land..."
chuckles, " Niether would I actually."
looks to her. "You really enjoy it here I guess."
shrugs, " It's a place far from the north where I can still ride a bike and not give a single shit." She stated.
hums. "As long as you ride it correctly. But you should know, since kind of similar in Denmark,:
nods as she listen, " There's nice scenery too here to know." She elbowed him lightly as a joke, " And its not just the flowers."
rolled his eyes a bit as he rubbed his side. "Uh huh."
smirks faintly before looking back at the flowers, glad she spotted the kind she liked the most.
hoped they were in a good condition... he was mostly worried about the tulips.
just really liked marguerite daisies which was different from all the tulips.
had kept those in good conditions too, mostly because of the male Dane.
wondered if she could ever help in taking care of those flowers.
thought she could. She probably knew more about the specifics of them.
seemed delighted about that. She yawned again, trying to get comfortable.
watched her as she tried to get comfy. "Need me to sit any way?"
shook her head as she stretched. " Nej, I'm good."
nods and closed his eyes, enjoying the quietness.
rested quietly in the meantime.
glad she was kind of quiet now. He needed some rest.
never really spoke much around him since she preferred the peace.
thought it was a nice silence. Nothing awkward.
had fallen into a light sleep from how quiet things were. She had a habit of doing that a lot.
didn't mind. He soon laid down as well and got comfortable.
sort of just slept upright though uncomfortably. She wasn't aware of it really.
pulled her down lightly, figuring she'd appreciate it more. Her back wouldn't hurt.
mumbled a thank you in her sleep as she cured up close to him out of habit.
put his arm around her and got comfortable around her, closing his eyes again.
smiled in her sleep in a content manner. Just she did like getting spoiled just a tiny bit.
((Ignore the just. My brain pulled a derp))
((My brain i sjust derp tonight like holy shit I'm tired))
in't mind helping since he liked the company.
guessed it sort of because a mutual thing.
really didn't mind it. He started t nap though, liking the weather and all.
figured it wasn't such a bad idea to sleep outside even for a little while.
wouldn't be here too long, he just wanted to enjoy it a bit.
knew so but she still wanted to make the best of it.
thought this was making the best of it... he was comfortable with her around, and really opened up.
thought it was nice and never thought once of taking advantage of the situation. She was happy and that was all the mattered.
glad. He thought it was hard for her to get happy. And himself even.
in some ways the simplest of people and very difficult in other ways.
could tell. He was just glad to get her on a good day.
pretty much had a good day everytime she visited these days.
woke up a few hours later, blinking a bit up to the sky.
had woken up a bit earlier than him but didn't move because she was entranced by the night sky. She also didn't want to wake him up.
yawned quietly. "It's late..."
glanced over to him as she noticed his movement and sat up. " Ja. I wouldn't have guessed."
slowly sat up himself, brushing grass out of his hair. "We should at least get inside before it gets cold."
reached over and just pulled the remanding bits of grass in his hair before getting up. " Ja we should."
got up once she was done, yawning some more. "Are you hungry?"
nods as she started heading back. " Ja. I kinda feel like we should go out and eat though."
nods at that and followed her. "We can go wherever you want to, then."
raised a brow, " How about you pick a place and I pay?"
looks to her and sighed, before nodding. "I guess I'd not win if I said I'd pay my half?"
grins, " Well unless you're willing to pay the other half, I doubt so." She joked. " But seriously, it's worth not worrying about it."
sighed a little. "We can go to the local restaurant nearby then. It's full of traditional Dutch cuisine."
nods, " That sounds good. Lead the way then."
started walking towards the restaurant, liking the thought of going to this place.
followed beside him in a curious manner as she was feeling hungry by now.
didn't walk too fast, wanting to enjoy the walk.
figured as much and she wasn't in a rush either.
got there a bit later and went inside, talking to the waiter who brought him to his usual table in the corner.
looked around curiously as she hadn't seen this sort of place before.
sat down and looked at the menu. "I'd recommend something, but I fin everything here goo."
raised a brow as she settled down in her seat and looked at the menu as well. " Why don't I just leave the ordering part to you."
skimmed through the menu. "You can, unless you find anything else you want on here."
shook her head, " Not really."
nods and gave the waiter their orders once he was done, as well as asking for a few beers.
usually assumed he went with water or tea when eating out.
normally stuck to water, but he felt like beer.
guessed it was a good thing then.
thanked the waiter when he brought the beers an sipped his lightly.
sipped her beer as she relaxed and seemed to like the place already.
loved the atmosphere here, mostly because it was relaxed and quiet.
wondered what the food was going to be like. She sort of had an idea but didn't really know what to expect.
glad when they got the food a bit later. He ordered mostly samples of main meals, so she could try a lot. He also liked it because he could have more, without getting set on one dish. There were stews, certain
ways of cooked meat and more.
wondered if he had done sampling everything before?
normally did to make sure the quality was up to par. He didn't like low standards when it involved a good amount of profit.
would just go along with it. She ate slowly, trying some of everything.
did the same, having only a little bit of each so she had the most of it.
only ate her half to be fair.
thought if she liked something a bit more she should have it.
figured it would be the best to try a bit of everything that she enjoyed.
had a bit more before letting her enjoy the rest.
finished her portion of food before sipping her beer. She really liked it.
glad she did. "Do you want any dessert?"
nods. "I do like dessert. Do you want samples again?"
nods, " Sure, why not. You'll have to finish most of it because I can't eat foods that are too sweet."
shrugs as he ordered some samples. "Most of these aren't that sweet. I'll tell you which have the most sugar."
pouts, " You should know I like more bitter sweets." She was different from the Dane.
nods as he sipped more beer. "I know. That's why I came here. They make more bitter and salty treats."
perked up but seemed mystified. She didn't expect him to be thinking of her interests when picking places.
thought of this place as a pretty traditional area. Sugar was always a treat when he was younger, and a hard thing to trade for when he had little on him.
guessed it made sense. She didn't question or find any need to.
sat back as all the desserts were brought to them. "These two have the most sugar, but you should try them regardless.
seemed a bit hesitant but took small bites from each, wondering how they tasted.
watched her as he ate a bit from them as well, glad for the sweet.
smiles, thought it was still too sweet for her liking. She took a sip of water before trying everything else.
let her enjoy the other sweets more, since they were less sugary than the two she tried.
ate some but left the most to him actually as she wasn't much of a dessert person.
kind of glad to see that.
finished all the food not long after, still taking his time. "What did you think of everything?"
smiles, finishing up her beer and sighed contently. " It's delicious."
nods a little. "I'm glad you liked it... We can come again some other time."
nods, " Ja, that's a promise." She waved to get the bill to pay for the meal after.
made a quiet sound, feeling awkward for not paying but also enjoying that he didn't have to.
didn't see anything negative about it. She hummed happily as she paid for the pill when it arrived and finished her water.
finished everything off before he even thought of moving. "I can pay the next time we're out."
shrugs as she leaned back in her seat waiting for the payment on her card to go through. " Up to you."
nods a bit. "It's only fair. You can't always buy the meals."
hums as she signed the reciept and collected her copy. " I don't really mind."
got up and helped her up after. "I do though. Even if it is conflicting."
thanked him as she started to leave. " Well, surprise me next time."
nods at that and walked out with her, wondering what to do now.
thought it would be just nice to walk around town. " We can visit the night market or go somewhere lively."
"The night market wouldn't be a bad idea. I can pick up some herbs on the way."
tugged at his sleeve towards where it would be, " Lets go then~"
Put his hands in his pockets and walked with her, enjoying the night more than he thought he would have.
hummed, excited to see the market.
loved the deals that went on, and how he could haggle the prices down.
saw that it was quite crowded from afar. It seemed to get her pretty excited.
kept her close so they didn't get separated. "Are you looking for anything in specific? I can help you look."
shook her head, " Nej I just want to look around for now. We can go get the things you want first."
shrugs. "I'll find them as we walk around." He idn't like how crowded it was, but he'd live with it.
nods as she glanced around, curious what stalls there were. She did hold onto his sleeve since people moving in and out were really fast.
kept close to her as he walked around. He stopped a few to inspect some food, but found most of it over priced.
noticed but didn't say anything about it.
would just go to a farm outside of town to get cheap but good food.
figured as much. She looked around, a few trinkets or so catching her eye. She like really unique jewellery but rarely wore any herself.
thought she should get some. The jewelry around was rather rare and unique.
rarely spent money on herself unless she had a good reason too. She eventually did see something she liked but it was out of her price range and someone else had taken interest in it.
thought she could try haggling her way to get it.
never really haggled or tried to challenge another customer. She just thought the single earring with the anchor on it was cute and moved on to find something else she liked at another stall or something.
figured she could make a deposit on it, or just splurge a little...
didn't even like that idea of depositing money for stuff. She wasn't going to try to get it since someone else seemed more interested in buying it.
followed her after, guessing if it was her final decision he couldn't change it.
just someone who really took time to pick out things for herself since she never really bought a lot of stuff in the first place. Back in the day she often just spent her money on food or family.
figured as much. He thought now though that she could live a little.
didn't exactly "live a little" unless it was spending for other people, rarely for herself.
still thought she should spend it on herself really..
kinda hesitant about it. She did see something she didn't realize she was staring at for a while but just kind of made up an excuse in her mind not to spend.
thought she should stop making up excuses and get something for herself. It was a nice reward.
still didn't get anything for herself in the end.
guessed she would miss out then. He found a few herbs and bought them.
sort of waited on the side quietly in the meantime. She did see the piece of jewellery she liked earlier being purchased and just frowned to herself. She knew she would miss out but she figured it was fine.
noticed she looked sad. "What's wrong?"
jolted slightly as she hadn't been paying attention. " Huh? Oh..." She smiled and shrugged after. " It's nothing. I must have been staring out too much."
shrugs and went to get out of the crowd, just to get away from the people.
followed quietly but there was too many people. She end up walking in a different direction since she was pushed around and seemed quite confused.
noticed that and went back to get her arm and bring her with him.
blinked, kind of relieved he found her as she stuck with him.
got out of the crowd with her. "It's a little hard to manage without knowing the system."
held onto him as she nodded. " I guess. I'm not from here after all."
shrugs. "You'll get the hang of it, I'm sure."
nods, " I guess." She paused to put a small carton of strawberries in his hands. " An old lady came up to me and insisted I give you these so here you go."
blinks a bit but nods. "All right?" He put it in his bag with his herbs. "Any reason?"
shook her head, " She said that she saw me with you. That's all." She was rather confused about it too.
nods a bit. "Okay. Is there anything else you want to do now?"
looked to him and back to the market. She seemed hesitant at first but eventually did say something. " There was a stall with an earring I really liked but it was too crowded and expensive. Do you think you_"
_can do some haggling for me?" She knew he was more knowledgable than her and it was obvious that she was foreign.
smirks a bit. "Sure. We'll see how much of a challenge this is." He took her hand and went back into the crowd. "Lead the way."
nods as she tried to weave through the crowds to get to the stall. It was even more crowded before.
kept a tight hand on her so she'd not get taken away. "Just point it out."
looked around, eventually finding the stall. She did sigh in relief when she saw the piece of jewellery there and that hadn't moved. She pointed it out to him after. " That one."
walked up to it and inspected it, making sure to make it obvious he was interested. He listened to the shopkeep explain how rare and unique it was, but he didn't take any of it. "The materials used for this
can be bought for a fraction of the price it's being sold at. And the craftsmanship, although well, isn't worth the extra amount this is priced for." He knew his materials well, and worked on jewelry as a side
project. It didn't take him long to get it down to a pretty good discounted price, and looked to Dorthe to see if she agreed with the price now.
seemed to just be surprised since it was marked as authentic with proof. She thought it was a good price and seemed glad to pay for it with him around so she wouldn't feel cheated.
stayed for teh whole transaction to make sure she got the price he got it down to. He looked to her again after. "Anything else you want?"
shook her head as she tried on the earring. " How does it look?"
watched her and nodded. "It suits you, quite well."
smiles back immediately as she was happy to hear that. She never got many compliments from others.
"Ready to head back? Or do you want to keep looking around?"
shook her head, " We can head home now."
Took her hand and started walking back home, keeping her close so she didn't get lost.
blinks as she held onto his hand tightly and went with him back. She kind of liked the attention from him.
got to an uncrowded area and let go of her hand finally. "There."
blinks as she noticed and awkwardly put her hand behind her back and continued heading back after.
followed close with her. "That earring really does suit you..."
blushed a bit, " Tak." She wasn't sure how else to respond but quicken her pace.
"Would you want to check out that place another time? There's often deals and new items every week."
nods slightly as she looked back to him. " Ja..."
nods. "Okay. I like to come here every Monday."
nods again as she continued to walk after. " I'll visit every Monday then."
"We can meet at my house then. You can have some tea first before we go."
smiles at the thought of a nice break for the start of everu week. " Okay."
thought it might be fun going with someone. He got back to his place and walked inside to put the herbs away that he had bought.
followed quietly after him. She was feeling tired and full by now.
glad she was full... "Do ye want to sleep here?"
shook her head, " I kind of feel bad staying here just to sleep all the time."
shrugs. "You've said that before, and again, it's no bother. Sleep is important."
sighs, " Fine but do you have an extra change of clothes?" She figured she might as well sleep over.
nods. "They're mine, but they should be comfy enough at least."
nods as she stopped by the door, " I kind of do prefer lose and comfortable clothing so I don't mind."
went to get the clothing for her, and once he got it he handed it to her. "Do you want to shower first?"
blinks and thanked him for the clothes as she nods, " Ja. I want to stay clean and refreshed."
nods. "You can go do that then. I'll have tea for once you're out."
smiles before heading to the bathroom. " Okay." She wanted to get clean.
yawned quietly as he went to get some tea made for them.
took a moderate length bathing as she was tired. She went and got dressed a little while later, heading down to the kitchen for tea. She had taken off the earring during her bath but put it_
_ back on when getting dressed cause she liked it so much.
held out the cup of tea to her. "Here. It's fresh."
thanked him as she took the cup, " Tak." She was kind of happy to be comfy and warm now.
sipped his tea as he went to sit on the couch. He was feeling pretty good about the day.
drank her tea quietly as she yawned. She went to wash the cup after.
"Do you need a wake up call, or just wake up when you do?"
blinks, " I'll wake up myself."
nods at that as he sipped more tea. "All right then." He finished up and cleaned his mug before going to dry it.
went upstairs to rest after. She did have a preference for his bed nowadays.
didn't mind if she slept there. He'd probably just do some cleaning, unless she wanted him there for his warmth.
left it up to him. She did substitute him for his rabbit since it wanted to stick to her.
went to go up to the room a bit after to join her. He could use a nap...
fast asleep though she was really careful about the bunny. She was quite comfy but also sort of hogged most of the bed.
laid down and got comfortable on his side at least. He didn't want to get between the two.
latched onto him out of habit and almost immediately after he was settled. She was still careful about the rabbit but she recognized him easily in her sleep.
made a quite sound but didn't mind as he looked at her. He just yawned and closed his eyes, beginning to fall asleep.
nuzzled him contently as the rabbit had gone and hopped elsewhere. She loved being comfy in her sleep.
found he slept more comfortable with her here.
