Well sad gardening news, 4 of my plants died over weekend. No rain lately and really hot made me use hose city water. Way too much chlorine, smells like a public pool. Killed plants in 24 hours
Including my big Thyme plant I've had since it was a seed a few years back. 
I never realised it was that harsh. Maybe Miami water is better?
Damn city line flushing coincided with my need for assistance in watering. I'd used up all of my 55 gallon drum reserve rain water. Harsh dry plus chlorine = death
It's not always this heavy in chlorine, just recent as they're cleaning the lines
On the bright side my toilet sink tub etc are all sparkling clean and white without scrubbing or doing anything other than turning the water on
