The eye drops taste awful when they run down the back of my throat.
So are corneas like... Not equipped with nerve endings
Because the doctor was literally wiping it dry with cloth and I didn't feel anything.
The worst was when he made the initial slice with the femtolaser because the device squeezed down on my eyes. The pressure was pretty discomfiting.
and I am stealing plurk time on the iPad because I'm supposed to give my eyes a break lol.
i've always been curious about lasik. i hope your recovery goes well!
Where did you get your operation o3o my mom's been bugging me about it, but I'm really iffy about it still...
coffeebun: Asian Eye at Rockwell. There's a 20% discount for Citibank holders haha.
i decided that the risk was negligent because they apparently have the best doctors and equipment.
i woke up today and things are pretty damn clear haha.
you have to get one every so often, right? that was what i was told... the eyesight gets bad again after a while then you have to get another surgery.
My cousin actually had hers done at shinagawa clinic with a groupon voucher, lol! But she ended up only doing it on one eye.
Yeah, the disclaimer is always going to be that vision will start to worsen again after old age.
Hm. Not sure about getting another one after a while. There's nothing about it in the literature I've read? Although yeah, that's what I've heard, too.
:'D I don't trust online promos for something as sensitive as an eye surgery. At least this one is both eyes, and all checkups are free up to a certain period.
I just came from one. The doctor says everything looks fine. Right eye is 20, left is 50-ish but should improve since it's only been a day.
