it "bad yarn"? Do I have to return it?

looks like it may have felted in transit. more experienced plurkers will know better xxx

I am not sure I know what that means. It came with two others in the same bag but I don't see it on those. The other bag seems to look OK.

I had my SO look at it when he got home and he just picked it off! So no harm, I guess it was that "roving"? I don't know what that is.
