Before I make my first homemade pizza crust...any suggestions so it gets crisp?

A pizza stone if you have one. A very hot oven

I did use a pizza stone and preheated the oven last time and the dough still didn't crisp. Bake or convection?

The only times I was able to get a crisp crust was in the big stone oven where I worked and on the grill...same dough but it just didn't get crispy unless REALLY hot

did you put corn meal on the bottom of the pie, also did you bake it on another sheet on top of the stone? If so skip the sheet, get a pizza peel, it should crisp up well.

some stones take up to an hour to get hot enough, make sure you are giving it enough time to preheat (longer than your oven does...way longer...)

That was probably the reason...the stone wasn't hot enough. Thanks.
