I want to get an intro deck, but I'm not sure which one is good c:
I used to, but that was back in...1995 or so? So I'm sure it's completely and totally different now.
Hehe I'm not really sure how much is different or similar... I'm thinking of getting a red deck, since they all seem more direct
When I played it decks were all mixed colors and you had to buy a bunch of decks and/or trade with friends to make specialized color-specific decks.
oooh. a lot seem to be colour specific now :|a
hehehe they did not seem the computer game wave coming c:
that said, Magic seems awesome and I got invited to play with a bunch of people so I will do that <:
I'll probably borrow my brother's old desk for the first time and if I like it I'll get my own : D
I LOVE MAGIC
I haven't played in a few years but omg I love it.
/BLACK DECK ALWAYS BECAUSE I'M A GOTH
I used to play it... early 2000s ish.
I actually got a really good starter kit that came in a tin. but I forget what it was.
I only really stopped playing as I ran out of people to play.
omg yay magic people <<<: I think finding people is the hard bit... thankfully there's a club in my town
I used to play. Some of the starter decks are naturally a little better or worse, but a lot of it comes down to playing style.
Each color has sort of a different method or focus, so you kind of need to decide what you like? I usually did green, blue, or black myself, but my bro did red, green, and white.
I've heard white and black are a little more advanced, but I don't know if I believe that. Green may be a good starting color, come to think of it.. but, again, depends on playing style.
Hmhmhm. I think it might be easier, in theory, to start with one of the more 'aggressive' colours... like green or red :|a, because hehe less strategy to start with. but that might depend on what monsters are
Rofl. I think most starter decks are catered to newer players. So at least there's that?
that's true. at least they have the how to play thing, which is super important because idk how to play
I played a few games with my brother years back, but he played... bro style.
Bro: BOOM, I WIN
Me:
rofl. It's, luckily, fairly easy to learn. It's the strategy and choosing your deck, etc, that requires tons of skill.
So you'll pick it up in no time and then start kicking ass.
