Honestly I have more complains about this film being Wrath of Khan 2.0 than anything else.

I'm incredibly torn about this movie u_u

on one hand, I really enjoyed it and it was a really intense ride, just from an emotional standpoint

I never saw Into Darkness, but it kind of reminds me of my beef with the first one. Like, the first movie wasn't a bad movie, but it felt more like a generic action movie instead of a Star Trek movie

As far as sci-fi action, you could do worse, but it just felt off

I may or may not have said "No you're not" in the theater when he claimed to be Khan.

If they had to have Khan in this movie, perfect chance for an actual Indian actor to play him!

i would like this so much better if it wasn't star trek because it doesn't feel like it

because given time and a chance to rewatch the movie I could sit down and walk through nu!Kirk's decision making process and why he fucked up the ways that he did

and a movie in the 2010s should not have more white people than a movie from the 80s
