Coppelion - still kinda boring. That one girl's whining is getting incredibly irritating. Gorgeous visuals, though?
Strike the Blood - ... Getting Vampire Knight vibes. <_>
Kill la Kill - My head hurt watching it lmao. Someone tell me what they think of this.
Although I remember that it took me two tries before the first episode of TTGL caught...
Nagi no Asukara - Oddly enough, I feel like this one has the most promise so far. ._.
you haven't watched Golden Time? O:
also...huh. i got full metal panic vibes from Strike the Blood (IDK I ONLY WATCHED LIKE 3 EPS OF THAT YEARS AGO i think it's the art)
The fish out of water trope is a bit literal here lol. Cute budding romance... possible conflicts between land and sea-dwellers, and the way they show life under water is quite charming. <3
as for Kill la Kill, i'm pretty sure it's supposed to be crazy action and may or may not have actual deep plot. with the ex-TTGL team on it, though, it COULD...but not expecting
oh you're still going. ..../shuts up
XD I've finished watching all four.
And Golden Time, no. It didn't sound interesting. How is it, though?
I think it's because of the girl's design in Strike the Blood... Hair and eye color, idk.
re: kill la kill, it makes me think of panty and stocking
with that random intense action dynamic filming style etc.
i've never seen ttgl though so it might be more like that, but. the style of animation and action definitely makes me thing p&s
That's what I was afraid of. If it's more Panty and Stocking than TTGL I probably won't continue watching it.
Also there's something awkward about thinking genderbent!Simon every time I see the female protag and Kamina whenever I see that creepy teacher...
Haha, I loved P&S so it's probably right up my alley...
though we'll see what they do with this supposed overarching plot
I didn't watch it... the skimpy outfit is going to take some time getting used to. :'D
I'm seriously thinking about cosplaying it.........
simply because lol no chest, yes
i haven't seen P&S and granted haven't watched the ep YEP
but i have a friend who has seen TTGL and said it was definitely like TTGL XDa at least in terms of tone
golden time is really cute D:
it's definitely one of the top romcoms of the season
it's set in a university rather than high school, too, so there's a different kind of flavor to it
This first episode of Kill is a bit... idk, it's like they jumped right into it. There's no build-up of plot, you're forced to infer details of the world on your own from the dialogue.
A lot of the design and tone is very TTGL, true.
this is true -- that's why i don't think it'll be as in depth as TTGL was
but who knows \o_O/ i think it's more for the action entertainment
And I can already tell that they're going to do a revolution thing against the overlords, which was also what happened in TTGL.
Who knows. XD It might get a deeper plot in later episodes. I can gape my way through a couple more and see what happens, I guess...
Log Horizon looks like a more light-hearted SAO hahaha.
yeah that's on my "To Watch" list
as well as Outbreak Company. IT LOOKS DUMB but i figured what the hell. an anime blogger i follow actually thought it was better than expected
...Yuunibu is full of boobs i was actually rather disappointed.
Which one is Yuunibu... you mean the Kataraku Maou-sama ripoff?
oh god okay, if you want SUPER vampire knighty check out diabolik lovers. it's like. lmfao.
dating sim anime I believe but I'm dying at what i'm not sure is intentional or super intentional cheese factor
Lol no I got scared of Diabolik just reading the synopsis.
The synopsis was super lame quotes but.... lmfao
pretty boys and awful mc..
:'3 I'll leave them pretty boys to you.
It's a train wreck, I can't stop, but I probably will after episode 2. XD
XD Those kinds of tropes are better off staying as dating sims.
Thank god the episodes are onlyt 15 minutes
