beaglemomknitter: went to the gym this morning... started talking to my boss about unemployment and other part time work.

We are starting to look at some of our other options, taking the approach that this is a blessing in disguise... l'm looking to get my 6 Sigma certification and looking into school right now.

I just saw that 300 or so state employees whose jobs are federally funded are going to be impacted. These people need to quit fighting over the toy and punishing innocent people.

I know it's a process. Some days you just have to cry and other days you move forward.

exactly... it takes too much energy and causes too much stress to worry... if need be, we'll take money out of our retirement accounts... it's not like we've been laid off... we will be back at work someday.
