Fuck! I can't figure out how to get my optical audio cable to work when connected to the receiver my mother gave me along with a 42' plasma TV. It doesn't help that I'm a bit tipsy.
If I knew figuring this out would be so difficult, I'd have settled for stereo instead of aiming for 5.1, when I have no idea what the hell I'm doing. I'd be happy to get any sound at all, atm.
Let me reiterate... Fuck!

So, after throwing a tantrum and various things around my room, I got my audio to work. Now, I've just got to clean up and I'm set... I'll work on surround sound some other day.
