lol, fear of flying definitely. Force choking? Not so much. He uses force choke in canon a few times. Not with the intent to kill, of course, just to temporarily disable and disorient.

I was thinking Vader style to the death one

Although I wouldn't even put it past him to actually Force choke to death if he were angry enough or felt it had to be done.

Luke's complicated that way. Now, killing someone and then stomping and spitting on their corpse? Yeah, that'd be totally un-Luke-like.
