Good: Had a job interview Monday that I should actually have a decent shot at hearing back about for once. Why can they not be bothered to email me or something and say "sorry, we're not hiring you"?

Bad: Arguing with University about not paying my housing deposit, on account of not going to University this semester and thus not living in housing. I sent in the damn note before the deadline.

The guy from Financial Services was nice and understanding about it. Unfortunately, he said I had to talk to housing to get the thing taken off.

Unfortunately, Housing says I need to prove the status I'm under. I've asked what I need to do that; haven't heard back from them yet.

Excuse me for thinking that sending in an "Academic Drop Intention Form" - that they, as in Housing, sent me and told me I needed to fill out, would be enough to ensure that they knew I was in Academic Drop.

I mean, the FS guy had no problem finding that out. And I sent the thing in before the deadline - I signed it, dated it, and sent it in in June, and the deadline wasn't til July 15th.

Blaaaah, bureaucracy. Hate bureaucracy.
