I've been role playing Luke Skywalker in some form or another for probably close to twenty years. He's pretty much been my go-to character for as far back as I can remember.

He's the easiest character for me to play not because he's a simple character (far from it), but because I know him and his canon so well.

It's sort of become second nature to me to flip into What-Would-Luke-Do mode.

It's very rare that I have to stop and reconsider if he really would or wouldn't do something like I have to do with my other characters.
