Summary for my tl;dr: Maugris is probably trying to take charge, at least nominally, and then head for the really dangerous-sounding places. Erk is alternately fighting and healing.
As far as Desco is concerned she actually is in charge, so she's just going to head for dangerous places.
If she runs across Maugris protecting her subjects she'll probably stick around long enough to help him out before hurling herself at the next group.
Maugris is probably more likely to be going for what he thinks is the source of the trouble once he's done/gives up on organizing people.
Because he's got an inflated sense of personal responsibility and is used to being expected to solve this crap.
Also wondering if now would be a good time to actually slap those Morph statblocks I made into the Bestiary (I have absolutely no idea how well balanced they are, tbh.)
(... Or whether there's a central approval-type post I need to send them to.)
Not for Bestiary stuff, no.
If you've got an entry for the appropriate canon on there you can just throw whatever you want on it.
Ah, okay. Should I make a Rekka no Ken post? The Fire Emblem post we've got now is just for the Tellius games (Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn)
I think a mod needs to make the actual entries?
Just ping whoever, though - they're usually pretty good about getting one up in time.
Oh, okay, I wasn't sure if I could just do it with the stringblank account.
Holsety or someone, could I have a series post in the Bestiary, please? Title should be Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword.
Or, if we want to leave it open to future FE6 players, Fire Emblem: Elibe or Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword/Sword of Seals.
Or whatever translation for 6's title we want to use, I've seen Binding Blade as well.
Alternatively alternatively we could just edit the Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn post to a general Fire Emblem post seeing as it never got posted on anyways >.>
And the fact that according to Awakening, the different continuities are linked anyway.
Yeah, but that's kind of secondary. If you take some of the bonus dungeons in various Final Fantasy remakes (or Dissidia, I think) as canon, everything up to FF6 definitely and maybe all FFs are linked, too.
Let me see what I can do! Shouldn't be too hard I think...
I will try to remember to remind myself to add Bestiary pages for new series in the future when I process apps
No problem! The guidelines for monster making are
here but they're pretty lax in general
I need to get back to my project of doing every Devil Survivor demon sometime
Hehe, I'd looked at the guidelines - I had the monsters made, I'm just now getting around to actually posting them >.>
Okay, my nine m-fing Morph monsters are up.
Three for each of levels 1-3. I kind of had to force myself not to make more, because I was trying to keep them fairly unique individually. (I could have ended up with one for each class.)
I ended up with Solder, Archer, and Priest for Level 1, Mage, Cavalier, and Wyvern Rider for Level 2, and General, Druid, and Berserker for Level 3. Like I said, I have no idea how balanced these guys are.
I feel like the Morphs would work well with the Yggdra Union monsters, which are also effectively generic soldiers, despite being undead.
Heh, they might! I went for Morphs because they're also undead and for the most part are mindless drones. (Also because they're good at being generic.)
I might go back and add a few abilities to them, though.
What, the Yggdra Union monsters?
/shrug. I wouldn't know, I haven't played Yggdra Union.
I outright made a few abilities up for the morphs, because frankly units don't really get special abilities outside their weapons in FE7.
Union units tend to be the same way, outside of Tactics Cards.
So, I have the classes that had class-specific TC skills on their living counterpart a mirror of that TC skill, but not much else.
