People criticize or berate me when I say that I'd rather enjoy what I do than make a ton of money but I refuse to listen because somehow, I've been able to grasp these facts of life so much earlier than most

people usually do. I don't conform, I don't follow the road most travelled, and I won't live the life someone else wants me to live.

I also get a lot of flack for claiming that happiness isn't a state, it's a decision. But it's absolutely true and maybe this will convince others better than I have ever been able to.
