Preparing for a few days of 'sleep when you can, stay awake as you must' and hope it all passes quickly.

As little attention as I pay to myself (or want from others) when I'm under the weather - I can't stand it when it's my kids.

As in I can't stand them being sick or feeling bad, not can't stand them needing attention (duh)

Yes, very much. Also - things I wish I'd had more from my parents I give my chick in huge doses. Important things like affection, promotion of self-esteem, explanations of how life works - all that jazz.
