My understanding is its just the shopping cart. If you get all 4 days, they combine into a 4day pass.

But if you can't get all 4 days, then it's hit or miss. Some days will sell out much faster than others (as always) so there's a chance when you try to get all 4, it won't work out.

I find the process kind of silly. And sad. Not that I'm going to SDCC any time soon.

Honestly, it's not very different from last year, because the number of actual 4 day passes was greatly reduced - most people did have to buy individual day passes, but were still locked out of preview night.

But yeah, there's always that chance. (PAX is the same way!)

I love it, personally, and we always have a really great time! That being said, I also don't spend hours waiting in line for the big halls... too much else to see/do!

Everyone's experience is different, so it really depends on how you approach/what you like to do, etc. It's definitely not for everyone. ^_^

I've been to AnimeExpo a couple of times, it was a lot of fun as well! They've got a good ratio of people to space for sure.
