I am not super keen to get back into the RP stuff because of the very thing you mentioned. The cliquey-ness and asshattery is one of the reason I left SL before. I'm fine on just fun places to hang out.

It that an underwater RP area? If so that would be really interesting to check out.

I mostly modify scripts, even after over a year of lessons in lsl. It is headache inducing, but I can usually figure out what it says to change it, even if starting from scratch hurts.
