he's really cute with his new wife
Aww, Sammy! Good thing you have a hard noggin.
LOL! Garth has a real reason to not like his mother-in-law.
STEP-mother-in-law. Weren't you paying attention?
Awww...I'm happy that Garth has a family now.
OMG!!! Next week!!

The muscle shirt on Sam cracks me up but at the same time...
I loved it until the end! Kinda mad at Sam, he needs to forgive Dean! Dean has forgiven him so many times. Acuately mad at the writers!
I got home late so I didn't watch until now.
I'm just glad Garth is still alive- for a while there I really thought Dean was going to kill him.
And yeah, the end is getting a little predictable. I really wish they'd just get the two of them back on the same page and leave them there for a while!
Not a perfect ep (tho I too am glad Garth wasn't killed!), but as for the boys, I think they both have forgiven each other a lot of things. But these things - Ruby, Amy, Amelia, Benny, etc - have all
taken some time and even when forgiven some are never forgotten. Ruby for example may have taken even more time if not for Zach's trip to 2014, but was sadly realistic b/c that was a major breach of
of trust with Dean, it was a human conflict. Just the same as Gadreel has now been a major breach of trust with Sam...he will need his time too and again it's only realistic and human. I hate the
rehash of brother-conflicts as much as anyone else, believe me, but if they're gonna do it might as well do it in entirety, balanced against the conflicts b/t the boys of the past. If not pleasant
to watch (which no, I don't think it ever has been), then at least there's that said element of actual human emotion vs. fairy-tale fix-all.
Personally after this gets resolved tho, I hope the writers finally figure some way to go thru a season WITHOUT putting the boys at odds. Yes I want that proper and balanced resolution, but once
that's said and done? ENOUGH ALREADY!!! Leave the boys' brother-bond be for a change...so say we all!
Well how ironic it was the evil stepmother who was behind the extremists. So glad Garth and his were-bride survived the night. I liked Dean actually talking about his feelings to Sam, I wasn't surprised
Sam is not keen to trust Dean at this point. At least they are back together, if just as co-hunters and not as family at this point. Not entirely satisfying, but I'll take it.
Yeah, it's a step in the right direction at least.
And I'm so glad to see you out here!
I think Sam's attitude is realistic for the moment. He had himself so psyched up to close the doors to hell, and get "purified", and then Dean talked him out of it. So not only did he lose his salvation for
past sins, but he probably feels some guilt about new deaths the demons cause, and some guilt for Kevin's death. All of that would cause him to lash out at Dean, until his emotions settle a bit.
Yeah, and then even after it was revealed to him that the end result of that purification would be his death, Sam still was ready and willing to die, twice, until Dean talked him out of it both
times...and esp the second time when he just wanted to die so as not to possibly hurt anyone else, speaks to me as to how damaged Sam, too, is inside. The Gadreel debacle definitely did NOT help with
that so no, that's not gonna heal quickly. But I believe, after some necessary time, the boys could help to heal each other...if the writers will let that happen. And that's always an if.
