Filed for Unemployment, currently working on updating my resume, hoping to put in an application or two today.

And holy shit. Just finished filling out on CalJobs... some of their "skills", I didn't even think should have been listed as "skills". More kinda common sense stuff. Are people THAT dumb these days?

"Knowledge of metric system"? That's a skill?

You'd be surprised. There are some people out there who don't really know those things.

Yeah. There are a lot "basic" skills that people apparently don't have. It's pretty weird.

Well, educational systems are vary throughout even just district to district in surrounding townships.

It really wasn't something that hit me until I was student teaching.
