Oh, no!

Looks like the first ever banana cluster got stuck inside the trunk and the trunk exploded breaking the tree in half

This really is damaging my birthday good feeling... yeah, take that banana tree

Well, at least someone made me an 8 pound 12" cheesecake for Bday... So at least i got that going for me...

Aw, happy belated birthday, and I've noticed bananas and their ilk are pretty hard to kill for good.

There were plantanos sprouting out of an Andrew pile of debris across the street, I just grabbed 'em and stuck them in my dirt.

That was the main stalk, hoping itll grow again.. There are 3 more stalks but even the largest is barely half as tall. So itll be 2-3 more YEARS before any bananas

Bummer.
