boss called me at 6:30am this morning saying it's an emergency and asking if I can make it to work at 8am because a coworker's horse just gave birth

I couldn't just refuse him because then my other coworker will be stuck there by herself all morning and it's impossible to do everything by yourself

so now I've got only 2.5 hours of sleep and seem to be working a 12-hour shift today

I'm tired of seeing this place. I've had to work 6-day weeks for the past month because people were off and I had to cover mondays in addition to my tue-sat schedule

I technically can but then I'm leaving my coworker all by herself and it's just impossible to do everything yourself. :c

don't they have anyone else they can call on besides you?

Only other person 8 the new guy and he's not up 5 speed yet on the problem packages. plus I am great at it so there's that at least.
