vectorbot: vectorbot: planning to do so. But it'll be tricky cos the head is completely sealed. Stepped and broke the eyes at the beginning of the build >.<

What you use for panel lining? If u use gundam marker, can try using the eraser trick to remove the bleeding ink.
Paul David says
wolfx: i use this. Comes with an eraser.
Paul David says

the eye sticker i'll peel off and use propanol to wash the eyes clean before repainting

the other one was ARTLINE irrc , used this a lot during college days.
Paul David says
hmm... i do use the gold and silver artline markers. Was seriously thinking of doing enamel panel lining with a brush
Vectorbot says
yea you could do that but cleaning up is tricky business.
Paul David says
true also
Paul David says
but all i need is enamel paint and lighter fluid. Cotton buds for cleanup
Vectorbot says
my past experience the enamel will somewhat make the white a little grayish despite my best efforts cleaning it up but then again maybe that's just me.
Paul David says
ah. did you clear coat prior to panel lining?
Vectorbot says

hmmmm can't remember but probably not
jenkinyat

reminds me of my ex-classmate back in primary when he boast that he paint his Gundam 1/100 or probably bigger while i was just starting off with 1/144 :-(
Paul David says
jenkinyat: tbh, after making this MG, i wanna go back to 1/144
Paul David says
which is my next kit, the Sazabi. But the Strike E+IWSP thats arriving soon will be MG again LOL
Vectorbot says
you know what, I realized that I've not build a MG before, lol
Vectorbot says
i did 1/144 , 1/100 even 1/60
Paul David says
1/100 is MG. Unless you made that old 1/100 no peg Bandai Kit
Paul David says
just get a Daban Kit. can get for ard 70-90
Vectorbot says
ehto 1/100 is not necessary MG.
Vectorbot says
my red & blue frame are 1/100 but no MG skeleton.
Paul David says
vectorbot: interesting. I wonder when they made the change. Cos all 1/100 kits are MG these days
WoLF-[x]
Scale doesn't correlate to grade, CL. All MGs are 1/100 but not all 1/100s are MGs. There are HGs and no grades for 1/100s as well.
Paul David says
true also. my HGUC Sazabi is 144 but is nearly as big as the 1/100
WoLF-[x]
Case in point, there are no grade kits for 1/100 Astrays (which me and VB have) and about 2 years later they released 1/100 MG Astrays.
WoLF-[x]
CL: that's only because the Sazabi itself is a big mobile suit. Imagine a 1/100 MG Sazabi.
