"Underpromise and Overdeliver." That's a cop-out to being excellent. Deliver exactly what you promise. YOU raise your own standards. Then you can always deliver better than usual.

yes...i always (hope) to live by that statement of underpromise and overdeliver...but my bosses ALWAYS overpromise hence we underdeliver :-(
