it is the character that haunts me

the one I've never gotten to play again

I loved the forum game I played her in

but I've largely given up on ever playing her at a journal game

I had found satisfaction for a while in writing short stories for the character

but all that really seemed to result in was an over abundance of details

the component of icons was always a difficulty for journal play as well

as to really be functional, Maddie needs both human and cat icons

I have always loved her usernames though

from Redmeatonlyplz to demoncatfromhell

There's something really fun in getting into her mind set

everything becomes about food

"Can I eat it?"

"No? Sorry, not interested."

I had a great piece of writing for her where she reflected on how humans taught her to kill and not eat it

and it was cool to show how a blood thirsty violent demon judged humanity for killing things that we don't intend to eat

For a while, I submitted an app for her almost every year

that was profoundly depressing

It always bothered me that I can have all the characters that I have had, write and produce so many OCs

and yet the first character I wanted to play, even years later, I can't get accepted

I think.... if Lady Red ever bites the big one, I'll try making Maddie as a low humanity gangrel

She's more a changeling, but meh
