Ordered pizza today and they told me 35 minutes. I timed things out to get there in 35 minutes, I didn't get my pizza for a whole hour after I called. I waited 30 minutes there, only to be told finally that

they got a $500 order from a school who's oven when out, so it was delaying everyone's order. My pizza was barely warm and I still had a 15 minute drive home. I was not happy at all

The woman said she would give me 2 free pizzas on the next order because of it. I appreciated that, but didn't help me today. She did offer to make them again, but I wasn't waiting another hour.

They should compensate you for their "mistake". Many pizza places will do that, either some extra for free or a free pizza next time.

lol, that's okay, they were not going to do anything about it at first. I let her know that I understood their situation, but it should have been vocalized to the customers so that they could decide to wait
