I also thing he'd be disappointed to see what it's like so far in the future, especially Tortuga. Because there's literally nothing left of his old stomping grounds but some ruins you can visit on day trips.

New Orleans would actually probably be the most surprising, because it was a busy pirate port, too, but where a lot of them have given up the ghost, it would have grown a lot since his time.
