Halfway through medicine. I'm a "solid student". Thank fucking god.

YEAAAH congrats on making it halfway through
Though I expected nothing less with the solid student thing haha
Thanks for the confidence. It's just a stressful rotation. A lot of calling clients and taking calls from clients. Talking to them and trying to get an accurate idea of what their dog is there for.
Which can actually be really hard since people don't keep accurate histories
Oh yeah I imagine... That does sound stressful though. It isn't like you can really put that in a textbook or something
Right. So a lot of it is experience.
Which... I now have two weeks of. ._.
My inpatient client called at 9:30 at night to discuss things
This was after I was there until 9
And I was meeting with Jay's family for dinner
Yeaaah.... I guess it is nice that they are preparing you for that kinda stuff but I would be so aggravated
OMG ok that is pretty terrible
It was a bit. Also, this is not what happens in the real world. You get a call in the morning
A doctor is not available 24/7 to take your questions and talk to you about things
Yeah I was going to say, that sounded... Strange
Wait so they had your cell phone number and shit? That is kinda weird
Nah, they called the main hospital line and then a doctor called me to call him
