got off at 8pm and now it's 10pm

this lady was out of town and called in to the call center to request her package be placed out for future delivery. call center never forwarded it to us at our station.

package goes out three times and obviously cant get to her because she's out of town.

we don't usually do 4th attempts. we finally get a call from the recipient about how she was out of town and she had called earlier, etc. I speak with a manager and set it to go out for del today for 4th att.

she missed the package on the 4th att and then called in this morning and spoke with another agent in order to ask the courier to call her with an eta so she can come home from work to be able to sign for it

the shipper put her wrong number on the package and the call center didnt check for the correct one when she called in.

courier couldnt call to have recipient be there for the 5th attempt. courier can meet her somewhere after the route but now we dont have the lady's number

she calls in again at like 6pm and I finally speak with her. she gives me the correct number, but we're unable to deliver again and she cant drive to murfreesboro

so I offer to just take it to her after my shift!

she's so nice and was really sorry and didn't mean to have me drive out there and whatnot, so we meet halfway.

about a 30min drive there, give her the package, and then drive home hurray!

she said she will call tomorrow with a compliment (8
