I guess she really liked her Sentra, because she got an Altima???????
I prefer the Maxima, tbh, but it's a little big for most people.
My brother and I used to call my mom's Sentra little fucker.
We both hated that car. It felt like a soapbox.
XD The Altima probably won't be much better.
Apparently my stepdad surprised her with car shopping.
my current rental car is an altima and it's actually really nice to drive. o:
Full disclosure here: If it's younger than 85, I'll hate it.
We're looking at cars for me when Mike gets this job (we hope) and the only thing I haven't

at is a few late 70s Camaros.
I know my mom is going to love the Altima, tho, since it's p perfect for her.
There's definitely some wisdom in picking older cars. Unfortunately, unless you're dedicated to restoration, it makes things difficult.
She can hide a lot of fabric in the trunk.
I'm waaaaaay more comfortable with an older engine, tbh.
I could rebuild one if I had to.
I wish I had my great-gran's car. She has a 1960 Dodge Pioneer and she basically never drove it. When I left home, it had 6000 miles on it. T~T
See, I used to work on cars for a living.
And I am super leery of Nissan, especially from the last six years or so.
Because they can and will blow their transmissions, since they aren't made by Nissan anymore, but outsourced.
Yeah, in the last 6 years, I'd agree.
But I'd much rather have just an old Camaro.
I was really interested in a Mazda or a BMW or an Audi, but we ended up with a Caddy. But my dream care is a '72 Stringray, ahhhh.
3. I can work on it myself, which I'd rather do anyway.
V. nice. A good looking car.
I'm not fond of first gen Camaros, don't like the front clips.
But second gen is my jam.
I had a fourth gen, before it decided to spin a bearing, and I loved that car, but it was too plastic.
But pre-fuel injected chevy is so easy to work on.
And carbs are literally nothing but a little time and aggravation to rebuild.
My only nope is if it's a 305. 350 or bust.
305s are the redheaded stepchildren of chevy motors and dnw.
Mike's El Camino has a 305. It needs rebuilding.
We're both literally kind of :T at the prospect.
But, as an aside, I think it's really neat how different people have different wants when it comes to what they drive.
Me, I demand a coupe with power, and I'm really heavily leaning toward finding one with t tops because they're literally the best.
Mike needs a manual transmission because he will kill every automatic he comes into contact with.
Hahaha, that is amazing, though. I agree.
Also, can I say I'm laughing at that truck in the bg.
That's my stepdad's. He bought it 98?
Won't get a newer one. He feels me.
I learned to drive in a 76 Pontiac Trans-Am. Black & gold, V8 (wanna say a 350), automatic
/nods If it was a Trans Am it'd have to be a 350. They're regular Firebirds, otherwise.
