In SLCC's defense, there are a jillion Comic Cons. In SDCC's defense, Salt Lake are being assholes.
SLCC is basically poking SDCC with a stick and then acting like the underdog.
Everyone running SLCC is pretty sketchy, in my experience, and I'm not a fan of those I know. But I also love having a Comic Con here, ngl. 
Take heart. At least it's not Dashcon.
It's the opposite... SLCC is the third largest in the nation in its first year (behind SDCC and NYCC) and the largest inaugural ever. We're too successful
...whoops.
Excuse me, largest inaugural in North America.
So yeah. We have all the legit celebs and panels and what not, but they're a bit money grubbing about it all and keep trying to make it bigger. :|
