Go for it! Make sure you find some good cookbooks and recipes, though, that is (allegedly) a lifesaver!

Hey :-D I've been vegan since November last year, and it's been fine! I was previously vegetarian for 3 years, so phasing in vegan food and then going completely vegan wasn't that hard :-) I have some useful-

^in that plurk paste thing are some useful vegan website links :-) Finding foods that are 'accidentally vegan' is probably easiest, just check the ingredients for allergens: milk or eggs (or it might have like-

-dried milk powder or something) and also check for honey and (and beeswax in vegetarian sweets to make them shiny), avoid the Enumber E120 (red colouring also called cochineal or carmine) as thats not-

Falafels are the nicest things ever <3 (made of chickpeas - you can get a nice falafel making mix from sainsburys called granose and maybe from other places too)-

-hummus is also great, oreos are vegan! :-D as are nairns oatcake biscuit things, pasta is good (apart from fancy egg pasta), marinated tofu is awesome (sold at morrisons) and really nice in curries or stirfries

at restaurants: maybe ring beforehand and ask if they could do you something vegan specially or look on the menu beforehand and see what you can eat. the toby carvery has 2 vegan options and they're really good

It's so easy to find loads of vegan recipes online! Though I don't do much cooking as I'm not very good at it :-P I'm sure you'll be fine, just persevere and be awesome xD Message me if you need any help <3
