ANYWAYS. nyx is not huge on traditional dates most of the time. she won't complain about dinner and a movie or whatever, but she won't be all that impressed.

and she definitely doesn't get the point of fancy restaurants and the like, why would you get dressed up all nice just to sit at a table and put food in your face what is even the point?

the stuff she DOES like tends to be things that are simple and fun. if you can bring her out somewhere where she can stay entertained - preferably actually by DOING something, movies and shows aren't a huge hit

i was going to say that rhys had a possibility of being a good, calming influence on her, but most likely, she'd just spend a lot of time getting frustrated at him. i know he goes along with team shenanigans

Bulba would not be a thing i don't think? even as an ivysaur/venusaur, when he is decidedly Not A Kid, she met him when he looked like a baby, it's recent enough to still be weird. also, he doesn't like girls.

aaand jolt. would actually probably go pretty well? he can keep up with her, which is more than she can say for a lot of people, and is probably totally on board with the same kind of activity she'd want.

plus, he's not going to try to talk her out of trying to scare or prank people. hell, besides char, he is probably the most likely to help her out, and that's a massive bonus

i don't know if green is included in this question? dating a human would be weird for her, dating a human who is also a pokemon trainer would be super weird, then joining his team would be kind of gross.

she loves green and loves being on his team, but dating her own trainer feels super taboo, and not in any fun way

honestly the way i most realistically see nyx and char being married going is someone asking one of them, and the answer being "eh, probably." and then green team gets mad at them for not telling anyone.

BUT if they are actually going to do the thing. chances are, they're less excited by the whole ceremony and process than the team is. they were just gonna have a party or something
