Why are parents so insanely computer illiterate? Mine won't stop using my pc instead of their laptop, and whenever I ask why... my mother basically says she has adblock and it ruined her whole laptop
because some of the stuff she wants to do won't work with adblock activated and "it's too complicated to shut it off"
why dont you shut it off for her so she can stop using your pc?
she also has this logic that she can't use her laptop because it's not on
......................
but yes, I've tried to tell and show her how and she still refuses to try to deal with it
so....turn it on...?
that's what I say, but she acts like since it's off, it would be some disasterous amount of effort to turn it on 
...

So, shut down your pc as she asks to use it. "WOOPS! It's offf, oh well, sorry mom, can't be used now"
Hahaha, she does apply the same logic to my pc being off XD but she uses it when my dad leaves it on
