the idea of good people who are also my friends having shitty struggles like this. It's okay to take some time for you right at the start. If you are interested, I can offer job-hunting advice
for me, the big worries were time scheduling and motivation. I was very afraid that I would fall into the college student noon-to-3am wake cycle. Also, job hunting is way harder to do than playing games all day
so I did both: I played WoW all day, but alternated between completing a quest and sending out a job application. I stayed logged in and in front of my PC all day, and I applied to everything that sounded
like a potential good fit. This allowed me to take interviews for jobs I wasn't sold on and turn them down, rather than feeling like I had to take the first place that offered.
It was too easy to do anything else unless I found a way to tie myself to my PC to actually do the job search. It's probably a lot harder to get a bite now than it was then, but you are way more talented and
thanks Shteevie, you're a gem and it helps that i have someone who still works downtown so i've been trying to still come downtown to do my job searches and meet-ups on a normal daytime cycle.
