Peeps: I need some button-down dress shirts that fit. Do you have a recommendation for a custom mail order site? Or simply take some generic shirts into a tailor for, most often, sleeve shortening? Fave brands?
Most that don't gape at the bust are generally too big.
I've mostly given up, honestly. Button downs are just not made for the busty or the apple-shaped. :-/ In order to get them to fit my torso, they practically reach my knees and the shoulders and sleeves are
too big, and I fear reconstructions of them by a tailor might be stupid-expensive for something I don't actually need.
I have this problem, too. Coldwater Creek (RIP) worked pretty well for me, but that's not going to help you now, I know.

had good luck with Lane Bryant in the past. They're the only button down shirts I've ever had that fit reasonably well.
