ooo did you go to the confederate museum

i used to do the compute rwork for the mayor and his office, I loved going there, they seemed so nice. It's just very small and very much boring except for the fact that the country reuinited there.

we skipped the museum (because we had an hour) and just did the courthouse and so on. great stuff, disappointing that most of the houses are repro's.

but next time through we'll hit the museum for sure

Kind of out in the middle of nowhere, except Falwell University etc.

we were driving from Roanoke Rapids to Roanoke...we didn't stop in Lynchburg. Appomattox was a happy site on the map

don't stop at lynchburg, nothing cool there, appomattox is pretty nice. There's the DDay memorial in Bedford which wit the water running is cool

We went there when we were in Charlottesville. I thought the park rangers really knew their stuff and I learned a bunch that I didn't know! I still say the town name wrong though, ApPAHma-tocks.

Yeah Appomattox is pretty far out there. Richmond is the best though!

Yeah we've really enjoyed Antietam, New Market, Petersburg and a few other spots...

New market is soo nice.

Oh and we did a run to Gettysburg this summer too...but thats leaving the land that God blessed.

I love Richmond but mostly because I like my people there!
