In the middle of a meeting today my nose started to bleed. Unaware, I wiped my nose and managed to smear blood all beneath my nose and across one cheek. It looked like I'd been in a bar fight. 
Upside: my blouse made it through unscathed.
Downside: the client across the table from me stared in horror.
Oh, I am fine. The blood stopped after about 60 seconds, but my nose really made those 60 seconds count. It was the others in the room that were really freaked out.
