[RL] Oof... so I went to a pre-op appointment to talk about the cataract surgery that I need... I wasn't scared, just antsy and looking forward to getting it done.
Their earliest appointment is March 30th. Now I'm terrified. How weird is that?? Six MONTHS?? I may be blind by then! I'm too young to have a freaking cataract anyway! Now both eyes are going bad?

FWIW, my mother had it done and it was nearly outpatient. Very quick procedure, and quick recovery! (Amazing, innit?)
I just am scared my other cataract is going to get bad and I'll loose my self sufficency in the next 6 months. But hoping to see if I can get a referral to a different doc to get it done sooner.
