he won't cut someone in half in a sudden death after spending a chapter torturing them

but it doesn't stop gon being like WHOA hes a cool hunter tho

instead he'll have them die a slow lingering death offscreen across dozens of chapters and one or two years-long hiatuses and restore them to perfect health with a brilliantly-conceived plot device

Yeah, i think that's actually the part i like best about ging? He knows what he did to gon but he doesn't feel remorseful about it.

he's just being true to his decisions and he knows that gon is all right with it

Lmao i loved that scene of the entire auditorium yelling insults at ging when i first saw it in the manga and the anime did a wonderful job animating it

although i wish they got more seiyuu to trash-talk him. I think it was just two or three VAs yelling the same things over and over

he gets bullied by the crowd calling him a terrible father and such XDDD

And his response is to beat everyone up without caring that they might hate him even more for it hahaha
